Is this something the blogosphere could use?

Social networking is one of the core elements to promote your blog.

I can imagine that this becomes a hassle if you are a professional blogger and have to promote multiple blogs. Technology is able to bring a solution offcourse.

What you see below is a picture of the PostBroadcaster. The PostBroadcaster is a service which keeps an eye on your Rss feed, and as soon as it sees an update in your Rss feed, it broadcasts this to multiple social networking sites.

Please give me your opinion. Could this be "something"?

  1. What you are proposing can be done using different services, anyway I think is a good idea to use only ONE tool to manage a network of blogs, what kind of features are you thinking about? Can you customize the Twitter message? Set each blog to which Facebooks accounts and so on are you going to republish it?

  2. Thanks for your reply :)

I haven't decided yet what the features are a professional blogger really needs. I guess almost everything is possible. Customizing the status wouldn't be a problem.

  3. hmmm....I certainly would use it. I think it's a good idea, if you could customize the message somehow.

  4. Friendfeed does this remarkably well. It rebroadcasts your new post to its site and you've option to auto-post it on Twitter, Facebook, etc. You just go to your settings and tie up your social media sites to it.

As an aggregator Friendfeed is tops and I'm using it. No need to use a plugin to rebroadcast your new post to the social media with FF.

Saw the link to this post in Problogger Forum by the way. :)
